Using The Zoe Planner

The Zoe Planner is a powerful tool that can help you live great, love unconditionally, and laugh more often. In this short post, we’d like to show you how you can turn your wildest dreams into reality!

After putting your name on this journal, you will find a series of reflection questions that you could use to help you discover your life purpose. Feel free to wreck this journal and answer the questions in the reflection page, or if you loved this journal too much, then get a separate piece of paper and answer the reflection questions there.

Now, let’s turn the page and focus on the diagram on the left. After answering the reflection questions, we believe that you will have some rough idea of a purpose statement that integrates your passion, skills, and the world’s needs.  Once you’ve found it, plot it on the life purpose page (the one we highlighted in the picture below) and commit it to memory.

After you have clarified your purpose statement, let’s fill up the Big Hairy Audacious Goals page. The phrase  BHAG is a long-term goal that can excite and energize people in a way that quarterly targets and lengthy purpose statement can’t. Fill up the reason why you want to pursue this goal, when you will achieve it, and establish a habit that will help you accomplish the goal (why habit? Read)

Next, go to the monthly planning segment, and based on your BHAG, plot your monthly goals so that it will still be aligned to your overall purpose and goals. Do jot down what kind of things you should focus on (big deadlines, anniversary,  and important dates). Congratulations! You now have completed your Zoe Planner set up. For now, take a breather and prepare your mind for setting up your best day yet, tomorrow.

Arise and shine, our dear readers! I hope that you are now ready to form your best day yet.But before we begin, let’s start by filling up our soul with joy by listing out things you can be grateful for. Next on the 2nd box on the right, list down your important commitments for the day. Why the small box? Because we only want you to put your most important commitment there. Next, write down a short and inspiring quote that will help you get through the day.

Last, on the last box on the right fill out 3 magic moments that you set out to do today. Magic moments are basically a time specifically dedicated to your loved ones. Use this time to listen to your partner’s woes, help your mother in the kitchen, or make time for a friend. According to relationship expert John Gottman, great relationships requires a lot of work. Lastly, you will find a simple to do list on the left. So take down your task of the day treat them like a task on your to do list.
